Previously named Top Mortgage Professional by Top Agent Magazine and recognized as the top lending advisor by Coldwell Banker Mortgage for two consecutive years, Ira Meltzer sought to reinvent the home financing business when he founded One Million Dollar Plus in 2015.
Known as the “Lender to the Stars,” Ira L. Meltzer and his experienced team have funded more than $4 billion in luxury and ultra-luxury residential financing. With his years of experience and deep understanding of the complexities that exist within the financial portfolios of high-net-worth individuals and celebrities, Meltzer leverages preparation, strategy, and superior access to help clients protect and add to their wealth.
Ira is passionate about supporting his local community, having served on the Board of Directors for the Community Blood Bank, the Children’s Discovery Museum in Rancho Mirage, and the Ranch Recovery Center of Desert Hot Springs. Ira and his wife Tara continue to sponsor a number of local and national charities near and dear to them including the Betty Ford Center, Grant Fuhr Golf Tournament, ABC Recovery of Indio, Boo2Bullying, and more.
Leith D. Chandrasena, Chief Operating Officer,
Leith Chandrasena joined the One Million Dollar Plus team in 2019 and previously served as Chief Marketing Officer before being promoted to Chief Operating Officer. In this capacity, he directs the day-to-day business operations of One Million Dollar Plus, keeping clients on track from start to finish and working closely with and under the directive of CEO Ira Meltzer.
Leith’s passion for business administration and ultra-luxury real estate drives his ability to maintain an in-depth knowledge about every multi-million-dollar property in major U.S. markets, from Los Angeles to New York City.
In addition to his work with One Million Dollar Plus, Leith supports local and national charities, including serving on the Board of Directors for Boo2Bullying.
Tara Meltzer, Director of Business Development,
Tara joined One Million Dollar Plus in 2016 to facilitate business development with real estate and entertainment communities nationwide. She is also featured in the company’s marketing videos and promotional campaigns.
Prior to joining the team, Tara was selected as the “Hope” Beauty Queen for the Bob Hope Classic Golf tournament while growing up in the Coachella Valley. Tara moved to Los Angeles and continued her education and worked in the film industry. She also worked in London and attended multiple Cannes Film Festivals. After working in entertainment, she moved back to the Coachella Valley where she sold luxury real estate in La Quinta, California
